Cookie Policy
Last updated 1 October 2026
This page lists the cookies affiliatetracking.co can set in your browser, what each one does, and the choices you have. It goes with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data generally.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between pages and visits — for example that you're logged in, or which pages you read. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels) work the same way, and this policy covers them too.
The cookies we set
We use cookies for three things: keeping the site working, understanding how it's used, and attribution for our own affiliate program. Here is the full list.
| Cookie / storage | Service | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors and counts sessions. We use it to see which pages help people and which don't. | Up to 2 years |
| _gid | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors for a single day of reporting. | 24 hours |
| _clck, _clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Records how people interact with pages (scrolls, clicks, rage clicks) so we can fix confusing parts of the site. | Up to 1 year |
| Session cookies | AffiliateTracking (this site) | Keeps you signed in to your dashboard and remembers your preferences. | Session, or up to 30 days if you choose "remember me" |
| Attribution cookie | AffiliateTracking (this site) | Remembers which affiliate partner sent you, so they get credited if you buy. Set only when you arrive through a partner link. | 90 days |
| Consent cookie | AffiliateTracking (this site) | Remembers your cookie choice so we don't ask again on every page. | 12 months |
Third-party services
We load Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) and Microsoft Clarity to measure how the site is used. These services may set their own cookies and may process data outside your country. We use them with IP anonymization on, and we do not use them for advertising or to build profiles for ads.

Your choices
Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before setting analytics cookies, and you can change or withdraw it any time via the cookie banner or the link in our footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings — every major browser lets you do this. Blocking analytics cookies doesn't stop the site from working.
Changes
If we add, remove, or change a cookie, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
