Partner terms
These partner terms cover the AffiliateTracking affiliate program. Plain English, no small print. Last updated .
1. Who's who
"We" and "us" means SAAS SEO AGENCY LLC, which runs AffiliateTracking at affiliatetracking.co. "You" means the person or company accepted into the partner program. A "customer" is someone who pays us for AffiliateTracking.
2. Joining
You apply, and we decide whether to accept you. We can say no without giving a reason. One partner account per person or company. Your details have to be true and kept up to date.
3. What you earn
- Cloud plans: 30% of each payment a referred customer makes during their first 12 months as a customer. After 12 months, that customer earns you nothing more.
- Yearly plans: 30% of the yearly payment made in those first 12 months.
- Self-host licenses: 30% of the license price, once.
We work out commission on what the customer paid, after discounts and before sales tax or VAT. It's in US dollars.
4. What counts as your referral
A referral is a new customer who clicks your partner link, or uses your partner code, and pays within 60 days of that click. If more than one partner sent the same customer, the first partner to bring them keeps them. Existing customers, and people who were already trialing when they clicked your link, don't count.
5. Holds, refunds and chargebacks
Every commission waits 30 days before it can be paid. If the customer gets a refund or files a chargeback, the same share of your commission comes back. If we already paid you for it, the amount comes off your next payout.
6. Getting paid
- We pay once a month, for commissions that have cleared the 30-day hold.
- The minimum payout is $50. A smaller balance rolls over to the next month.
- Before your first payout, we need your payout details and a tax form: a W-9 in the US, or a W-8BEN or W-8BEN-E outside it.
- You're responsible for your own taxes, and for any fees your bank or payment provider charges you.
7. How you can promote
You can write, film and post about AffiliateTracking anywhere you have a real audience. You must say clearly that you earn a commission, as the law where you are requires (in the US, the FTC's rules). You can't:
- Buy through your own link, or refer your own company or anyone you work for
- Bid on "AffiliateTracking", "affiliatetracking.co" or misspellings of them in search ads
- Post partner codes or deals on coupon, deal or cashback sites
- Send spam, or use our name in a way that suggests you are us
- Promise features, prices or results we don't offer
8. Fraud and breaking the rules
We check every referral with AffiliateTracking's own fraud rules. We hold a referral that looks fraudulent while we look at it. Commissions that come from breaking these terms are void. If you break them, we can hold or cancel your unpaid commissions and close your account.
9. Changes and leaving
We can change these terms. We'll email you at least 30 days before a change that lowers what you earn. The old terms keep applying to customers you referred before the change. You can leave any time. We can end the program or your part in it with 30 days' notice. Either way, we pay the commissions you earned properly before the end, once they clear.
10. The legal part
You're an independent partner, not our employee or agent, and the program isn't exclusive for either of us. Our total liability to you under these terms can't exceed the commissions we owe you. The laws of the State of New York, USA govern these terms, the same as our terms of service.
