Migration

Import your affiliates from Rewardful in an afternoon.

Rewardful is a fine tracker. This post is about leaving it without losing a single partner, link or pending commission. Four stages, one afternoon, done by one person.

Why teams leave

Every migration we see starts the same way: someone asks what a commission paid out and nobody can trace it. Or a refunded charge didn't claw back the commission. Or finance wants the money rows somewhere other than a SaaS tool's dashboard. The trigger is almost always evidence, not features.

Stage 1: Export from Rewardful, 15 minutes

In the Rewardful dashboard, export your affiliates: name, email, referral code, and the link they use. That CSV is the spine of the migration. Also open your commission settings and copy the rules down: percentages, any tiers, any per-affiliate overrides. Most programs have two or three lines to move.

Pending payouts stay where they are. Do not cancel mid-cycle; let Rewardful finish what it owes.

Stage 2: Import and review, 45 minutes

Point the import at your CSV. Every partner, code and rate lands in a review queue: you approve row by row, fix an email here, drop a dead partner there. Nothing is live during review, so the import is the one moment you can clean years of drift. Chasing typo emails now saves payout bounces later.

Stage 3: The parallel run, one payout cycle

Swap the tracking script so new conversions flow to the new program, but keep Rewardful alive until it pays its last cycle. Both tools tracking briefly is not a problem: old conversions settle in the old tool, new ones in the new. Partners see one change only, a portal login.

Stage 4: Cutover and the redirect that matters

Old referral links use Rewardful's domain shape. One redirect rule on your site maps every old link to your new tracking script, so a partner's blog post from 2023 keeps crediting them. Without that redirect you lose partners. With it, the migration is invisible to everyone but you.

Then cancel Rewardful, and your program runs somewhere you can audit every cent from click to payout.

What it costs

An afternoon and one careful person. The import queue does the heavy lifting; the review is where you spend your attention. If you'd rather not touch the CSV at all, the switch link starts a 30-day trial and we run the import with you.
